Had 2 problems with the original. Turn signal return no longer worked and end cap with washer controls fell off. After watching a few U tube videos, I was able to replace the unit with the new one in about 15 minutes taking my time. You need a number 20 star driver bit, otherwise common tools are used. Pretty easy. I removed fuse panel cover, unscrewed tilt control arm, removed lower steering column cover, popped out key assembly (Had disconnected battery before starting to avoid any problems with airbags), removed upper steering column cover, removed turn signal arm assembly, installed new one and reinstalled other stuff in reverse order. Pretty easy to do. Watch videos a few times first.
