I'm playing this game with lupus and inflammatory arthritis. I can't do all the moves. I will never be able to do all the moves, but I have a really good time doing what I can. The Just Sweat mode is a lot harder than it was on Just Dance 3. Instead of being able to pick a goal and then pick your way through the songs you like, this one has you commit to an amount of time (up to 45 minutes, give or take) and pick a style (cheerleader, martial arts, salsa, etc.) and then it blasts you through alternating dance sessions and workout sessions (dance - kick box - dance - kick box - like that). It's more like a traditional work out video in that respect. As for the Just Dance function, I have arthritis in my hips and spine, so, as I stated above, I cannot do all of the moves. But you can get through the Wii U version of this game without being able to do all of the steps as long as you can do a pretty good approximation of the arm stuff. And it's really fun, even for an old geezer like me.My 12 year old son refuses to play it with me. He's pretty mortified at the very thought that I *dance* *at* *all* - so watching me do it isn't high on his to do list. He's also kind of a little rock snob, and this game does seem to have an even higher concentration of dance-y, disco-y new music than Just Dance 3 had, so I probably wouldn't recommend this as a gift for the little metalhead in your life - stick with Rock Band for that one. I still highly recommend it for anyone who needs to exercise but gets bored easily.P.S. There's no training mode for this game and no way to back up in the middle of a song. If you want to practice/learn the steps, and you're slow like me, you can go to youtube and search for videos. Watch them and rewind to your heart's content. Then, pop in your game and head to town. While I am not specifically a fan of any of the consoles currently available I did feel that this game would have benefit more from technology like XBox's Kinect but only because of how it tracks your energy level and movement. It only tracks your movement by the Wii controller (not the WiiU controller) and so at any point all you have to do is wave your hand back and forth and suddenly you're gaining points.. the calorie counter confuses me based on this but I know better than to assume that's actually correct! But, based on the graphics, the replayability and the selection of songs (which was unfortunately too poppy for me but still overall a lot of fun to dance to) it was enough fun for 3 stars. If they could figure out some way to utilize my WiiU controller (maybe a belt clip-on?) then stars will be added. Oh and you have noooo idea how to play at first.. it doesn't offer tutorials and you're just kind of shoved into the game waving your arms about like a moron until you've figured it out or learned the dance moves.I think the point of this game is just to get you moving though.. if that's the case, great job! If you're trying to get more out of it like the old DDR games.. look eslewhere.Writing this Review under my husbands account.I ordered this game in my attempts to be more active. I already own a Fitbit Charge HR which really comes in handy when playing this game as I can track my heart rate. I like a majority of the songs in this game, however there are a few I could do without. I do wish that the DLC(downloadable content) was free or at a cheaper price. This game keeps me moving and helps me exercise without even realizing it. It's fun, quirky, and will make you sweat. You can play alone or in a group, it's a fun game and will continue to purchase different versions of the Just Dance games. We just got the Wii U this past Christmas, and this was one of the games I purchased for it. It is super fun, and our kids love to try to dance along with the people, too! Some of the songs are really obscure, so that is my only real complaint. Even thought it looks kind of weird, I like that the people are faceless and for the most part dressed pretty modestly, since our little ones like to play along. I always laugh a lot while playing this game, and it's especially fun with guests! I want to get the newest one for some new song choices, but will wait until the prices go down (which is why I purchased this one instead). These games are awesome! I had recently played them with some of the kids in my family while visiting, and ended up having to pick up my own copy. As someone who stays pretty active and works out, I like the idea of games like this that get you moving. Yet, they are so fun, that it doesn't feel like a workout. You learn dance moves to popular songs. It has a pretty decent variety of moves and artists. Even some of the lazier, how to say this nicely... not so thin kids in my family have been playing it and enjoying it. I will definitely be picking up some of the other versions of Just Dance in the future. Great for those who can't make it to the gym, and some of the songs have lower intensity levels for beginners.I have to say, this is one of the few video games I've ever bought that has made me laugh out loud. I don't know if it's the visuals, or some of the cheesy songs, or silly dance moves, or just me laughing at myself. But I laugh. A lot. Except when I'm panting, trying to catch my breath. The gamification is not bad either. Collecting mojo points and unlocking new dances and mash-ups is fun. My wife enjoys the workout mode. I'd give it the fifth star if the motion controller was a little more accurate. I swear I'm hitting the gold star moments right, but it just never seems to notice!Ordered this in error needed the WII but love this game.. ordered it for my 23 month old and 9 year old... great song selection for kids and very catchy tunes as well. Although the adults try to master every move and I glance over at the children and they're not dancing quite as hard and somehow they maintain a perfect score but that's OK too.. just dance love the kids...... Highly recommended for a gooooooodddd workout. It is surely that 30 minutes of cardio exercise we as adults need daily. Can't believe I hadn't purchased it sooner since there is now a 2014 version. This is my introduction to the Just Dance Series of Games - and I just love it. After looking at youtube videos of previous games in the series, I have to say that this comes out on top by a mile. The other Just Dances look more like aerobics routines whereas this one - is chock full of dance moves you could pull out in a club if it came to it! Some great laughs with how random it is, some great moves, some silly ones (in a good way) and all in all a good game for one, two or more. Obviously there are some features that aren't as great - like the mashups are a bit boring but the core of the game is solid! Do yourself an buy this version of Just Dance - better than the ones before, and less of a sellout than the ones to come (the newer games require membership over downloadable content meaning you stream extra music for a period of time rather than download it to keep)Compre este juego y cual es mi sorpresa que al utilizarlo estaba en blanco. Osea no estaba grabado. Just Dance game series and I'm seriously impressed. Nw I understand why it's such a hit! The Wii U seems to have the most comprehensive features as well. Overall excellent experience! I picked 4 based on my research of the Just Dance songs in each game and 4 had the most I knew/liked.This game arrived early. It was is excellent condition and the seller even provided a $2 coupon for my next purchase with them. I was also happy with the price. These Just Dance games are fun for the whole family. My 11 year old daughter loves them, and so do a lot of her friends.
