Description
Empire of sin, the strategy game from romero games and Paradox interactive, puts you at the heart of the ruthless criminal underworld of 1920S prohibition-era Chicago. It's up to you to Hustle, charm and intimidate your way to the top of the pile and do whatever it takes to stay there. This character-driven, noir-inspired game puts players smack dab in the glitz and glamor of the roaring 20S, all while working behind the scenes in the gritty underbelly of organized crime.

This is a great escape. It can get a little deep, but its fun and the graphics are good. highly recommend for older peopleIt’s a decent game but not worth the $40 I paid. Very rinse and repeat with going to a building, kill everyone inside, takeover or destroy and move onto the next. Only bothered to play it two times and I didn’t quite finish the second attempt before I sold my copy. If it’s under $30, maybe it will be worth it for most. I do like how I had these little quests that were different between my two characters. I guess each character has a quest line or two unique to them. Although, one new but small quest in my second playthrough bugged and I wasn’t able to finish it. Also, if anyone attacks one of your businesses and you have little security there, you’ve lost the battle. Trust me, you guards are dead if they don’t outnumber the enemy. I wish I could’ve simply skipped those losing battles, but the game made me watch my goons die.So much funGreat game just got it and so far it's worth the purchase. This was a good game just like XCOM2. Hopefully the switch will have more games like this in the future. Gameplay was so good I have gone through the entire game twice and at some point may play again. When this dumpster fire came out, it was miserable. It was extremely buggy, laggy, and constantly crashed. So I patiently waited for over a year for updates. Even after countless updates the game just sucks. It's INCREDIBLY SLOW. You'll fall asleep within minutes because just how slow the turn by turn game style is. You have to sit and watch each enemy movement. Also your characters barely heal. After one fight your Don is nearly dead and you can't do shit but buy health items. You uses to be able to enter thr safe house and heal, but they removed that feature. How can a bunch of low level guards bring yiur level 5 Don to 15% health after one fight.Like the headline. If you enjoyed the tutorial, get ready. You repeat those actions indefinitely until you win. This game is a total disaster on the switch. There is plenty of slowdown and frame rate drops. The game also crashes often and the game has plenty of bugs, which at least the developer is trying to sort out with patches. But I am not sure how the Nintendo allowed the game to be published in such a bad state. The thing is...despite all the problems, it's still a pretty fun game....just not in Switch. I bought it Xbox Series X, and it plays a lot more smoothly.
